Q? Can I buy a product online?

Purchasing online is available for some of our standard furniture and home decor pieces. If you are looking to fully customise beyond what is available or have a design of you own, please contact us directly. For urgent request, please call us at : (305) 807 8468 or by email at info@galiatea.com

Q? What is the process for ordering?

A.

Online Purchases:

Please select your item and any desired size and specification and select "ADD TO CART". 

Once you have selected all the products you wish to purchase, go to "CART". To complete your order, please submit your payment details.

Custom:

 

Please send us an email at: info@galiatea.com with all of the details. We will respond within 24 hours with a quote.

If you desire to purchase the item, you would then send 70% of the total cost in order to start the production of the item. You can use either credit card* or wire transfer. Galiatea will send you a confirmation email of the purchase. The remaining 30% and shipping costs will need to be paid in full prior to shipping.

*Please note, credit card purchases need to be charged an additional 3% for transaction fees.

Q? Can I customize my order?

Online: Select the customization options available for each product. 

Custom: Since all products are made to order, it is possible to customize your orders. You can ask for a different color of wood, a different size, and other alterations (base of sculptures, etc…). If unsure of what is possible, please discuss any customization with our Galiatea expert at (305) 807 8468 or by email at: info@galiatea.com 

Q? Can I cancel an order?

A.

Once you have placed an order, you have up to 24 hours to cancel an order. If production of your piece has begun, it is not possible to cancel the order. This must be done in writing to info@galiatea.com .

Q? Can I return any item/furniture piece?

A.

Due to the nature of the hand crafted quality of the products and since they are made to order, we do not accept any returns on accessories or furniture from any of our collections.

Q? Who can purchase from Galiatea ?

A.

Galiatea LLC sells to the trade (Designers, architects, design stores, galleries and museums). If you are an end user, please contact a local designer to receive our products. We will soon be offering our best selling products to the public...Stay tuned!

Q? Does Galiatea offer design services?

A.

We offer design services and consultations for any residential and hospitality Interior Design project.

Q? Can I change any details of my order after it is placed?

A.

If you would like to change your order after it has been placed, email us at: info@galiatea.com specifying your desired changes. Once the payment has been processed, there can be no changes to your order.

Q? How long will it take between I place an order and when it is shipped?

A.

Each piece is carefully handcrafted to your specifications so there will be varying lead times depending on the product. Furniture may take up to 8 weeks to produce whereas the embroidery of pillows can take up to 3 weeks.

Q? Will I receive the exact same item as seen on the pictures?

A.

The items shown in the pictures are the original items; since all pieces are handcrafted, there might be slight variations due to the natural materials used (wood grain, etc).

Q? Why does a shipment from Brazil take longer than from other locations?

A.

Shipments from Brazil take longer due to the bureaucratic procedures taken to export products. They may also take longer if they are large items that need to go by ocean freight instead of air freight.

Q? Does shipping come with insurance?

A.

All of our shipments will be insured through the shipping company. If any damages occur, please let Galiatea and the shipping company know once it has been delivered and unpacked.

Q? How big of an order do I need to place for a shipment to be sent?

A.

We recommend our customers to place larger orders, thus reducing the cost of shipment. It is also possible to ship as low as one item per order.
